A full website content overhaul. The client (an electronics recycling company) cobbled together copy from various competitor sites but never fully made it their own. I merged their sample content and company vision into vibrant, original copy that amplified the Emergent brand. Truly showcasing the company’s unique offerings and benefits to clients.
This web excerpt was for a local Austin realtor looking to showcase her experience, knowledge, and unparalleled customer service to potential clients. We used emotion and logic to appeal to the buyer’s desire to purchase their dream home.
I created almost all of the content for this site. From the web copy to the catalog product descriptions. The owner started his own custom closet business and wanted to emulate the biggest and best names in the industry (California Closets, Closets By Design, etc.). We used niche keywords and powerful, emotional language to help prospects see themselves enjoying their fabulous new closet systems.
Original content for a new website. The focus was on conveying “The Outpost” as the ultimate outdoor experience in all of North Texas. Exotic hunting, fishing, and world-class taxidermy were some of the major services offered that we highlighted.
Ryon’s Web Design is a full-service marketing and development company near Dallas-Fort Worth. Although Ryon’s websites speak for themselves, he asked me to help with some copy for a few of his pages. We emphasized his unique skill sets and the point that web design should be an extension of your brand – not a separate entity.

I took transcripts of of existing Mixergy.com videos and created new listicles and narratives for their marketing agency. This unique new content was then used on social media to drive traffic back to the Mixergy website.

An article I wrote for a law firm marketing agency in California. The content was geared towards helping law firms understand the true value of content marketing.
Content for a local gym in the Austin area. The emphasis being on personalized service and their “raw” approach to fitness and fun. No fuss, no frills – just results.
Another landing page project for a law firm in Arizona. The goal was to touch on all the case types the firm handles and entice site visitors to take action.
A press release I created for a new startup in Austin. Press releases are a delicate balance of providing useful information without coming across as being too “salesy” or aggressive. This piece had the right ratio of interesting content combined with just the right amount of salesmanship.
An interesting project for a “green” solutions company. They produce innovate plastics that are fully biodegradable yet maintain the strength and durability of traditional plastics. The content highlighted these remarkable features as well as their custom branding options for including existing company logos or taglines on each product line.
I’ll admit it. I’m “cuckoo for cocoa puffs” when it comes to Fantasy Football. So much so, that I had to write a book about it. This eBook is designed to help fantasy football enthusiasts increase their skills, win more matchups, and improve their overall game.
A 10-part autoresponder created for a law firm in California. The goal was to provide value to recipients yet leave them wanting more and eventually asking for legal assistance.
Note: Names and numbers were changed for this sample.
